He had a certain unique confidence, but his music was a bit too middle-of-the-road for my personal tastes. And some of his hits were unlistenable, like the head in the oven song, and one where the girl has the same tattoo too. Jeff Lynne is one of my hands down absolute favorite artists and producers, but I didn't get it when that sound was infused into TP's music.

Something you left out in the Mike Leech/Texas Tech scandal is that Leech tried to sue the school for their conduct, but it was dismissed on summary judgement. Which basically means they dismissed it without a trial because Leech didn't have a case. I know people love him, but i think he fucked up that Texas Tech situation. Should have just let the kid wear sunglasses OR dismissed him from practice.
